Lawrence A. Wilson captained the Tiger wrestling team (1952 and 1953) and compiled a 28-3-1 record. He was Niagara AAU champion in 1951, was runner-up in the Individual Invitational Interstate Intercollegiate championships in 1952 and was undefeated in dual meet competition (9-0-1) in 1953. He was first chairman of the RIT Wrestling Alumni Association, and a founder of the RIT Varsity Club.
