After transferring from Cortland State, Judy (Baker) Bablok quickly became an integral part of the women’s swim program. Bablok was a four-time All-American and three-time relay state champion. Her All-American honors came in the 50-yard freestyle and as part of three freestyle relays. The native of Camillus, N.Y. (West Genesee High School) held RIT school marks in the 500-yard freestyle, 100- and 200-yard backstroke, 400-yard individual medley, and as part of the 200-, 400- and 800-yard freestyle relays. In two seasons, she compiled 568 points and currently ranks 11th in career scoring. She helped guide the women to a 16-6 two-year record, and two top seven finishers in the New York State Women’s Collegiate Athletic Association championships.
