During his career at RIT, Jerry Huffman never lost more than one wrestling match in any year. He held the mark for most wins in a season (14), and posted a 34-3-1 career mark. An electrical engineering major, Huffman captained the team for two years. He was RIT Athlete of the Year, Wilkes Tournament champion and president of the Lettermen's Club in 1960. As a freshman, Huffman won the Niagara AAU title, was the runner-up in the Wilkes Tournament and earned honors as Outstanding Freshman Wrestler. In his senior year, Huffman scored 41 points while yielding only five. During his career, Huffman won 15 consecutive matches, as the Tigers compiled a 32-15 record during that period.
