With 1,157 career points, Jeff Haskell currently ranks 10th on the RIT all-time scoring list, averaging 11.9 per game. The 3-point field goal was introduced in 1986-87, which benefited Haskell for his final two seasons. He was a two-time Empire Athletic Association selection and is RIT’s all-time leader in assists (465) and steals (175). Haskell topped the 300-point mark in a single campaign in 1986-87 and 1987-88. As a senior, the point guard tallied 361 points, playing for head coach Bob McVean. RIT hosts the annual Harold J. Brodie Tournament and in 1987, Haskell set the tourney record with 16 assists. A business administration major, Haskell was an All-Empire Athletic Association second team selection in 1985-86 and honorable mention pick in 1987-88.
