A five-time All-American in cross country and track, Jamie Glydon capped off his career as Senior Men’s Athlete of the Year in 1996. He earned three All-American titles in cross country and added two in track. His top finish in the cross country nationals was fifth place in 1994. In track, he placed eighth twice in the 10,000 meters in 1994 and 1995. Glydon guided RIT to four Eastern College Athletic Conference championships and four top 12 finishes in the National Collegiate Athletic Association cross country competition. He qualified for the nationals in cross country and track every year. He also garnered ECAC individual championship honors in 1995, topping a field of 150 runners.
