After four years in the U.S. Navy, Dario Armanini enrolled at RIT where he became an integral part of the intercollegiate athletics program. A three-time captain, Armanini played four seasons of baseball and served seven years as part-time athletic trainer. Following graduation, Armanini coached the freshman baseball team for three years, posting a 6-1 mark in 1963. As a second baseman, Armanini had a career batting mark of .275. Additionally, Armanini was vice president of the Lettermen’s Club and assisted in organizing and printing of the annual RIT sports program.
