Chester (Chet) Hallice had a highly successful career in goal for the RIT men’s hockey team. During his time at RIT, Hallice won a national championship, NCAA Tournament MVP, and MVP of the Syracuse International Tournament. Hallice, a native of Shrewsbury, Mass., finished his career in the top ten all-time in saves, save percentage, goals against average, shutouts, games played, minutes played, and wins. It is important to note that the Syracuse International Tournament was against Division I teams Colgate and Western Michigan, who were both nationally ranked at the time.
