The name of Cameron Hall has become all but legend in track at RIT. Prior to his induction, he held 10 varsity, four freshman and two indoor marks. While a majority of his records have since been broken, he proved to be one of the most versatile performers in the history of track at RIT. Despite knee injuries which curtailed his career, he was named one of three Senior Athletes of the Year in 1972. In his four seasons Hall accumulated 513 career points. He previously held the single season point mark at 221.75. During his career RIT posted a 42-0 dual meet record. He was three-time Upper New York State champion in the intermediate hurdles and twice champion in the high hurdles and 100-yard dash. In his only Independent College Athletic Conference (ICAC) Championship Hall captured both hurdle events. As a hurdler and sprinter, Hall captured 136 races in 140 starts. In 1970, he was highlighted in Sports Illustrated as part of the "Faces in the Crowd" feature.
