A native of Delhi, N.Y., Caitlyn Burr was a two-time All-American and won six Upper New York State titles. Additionally, she was named an All-Empire 8 First Team selection six times, including Rookie of the Year honors in 2007. She earned two All-American honors in 2008-09, placing 15th in the 200-yard individual medley and 11th in the 200-yard butterfly. From 2006-10, the two-time team captain won more than 140 races and holds eight individual school records and is a member of five record-setting relays. Her individual records came in the 200-, 500- and 1,000-yard freestyles, 100- and 200-yard butterfly, 100-, 200- and 400-yard individual medley. Burr was named a CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American in 2010 and received the UNYSCSCA Barbara Radef Award for academic and athletic excellence that same year.
