Palmyra, N.Y. native, Brandon Redmond is one of the greats to ever don a RIT basketball jersey. He is third all-time in scoring at RIT with 1,455 career points. In his freshman season, Redmond helped guide the Tigers to the NCAA Division III Tournament, averaging 10.4 points per game, 5.0 rebounds per game and 2.07 assists per game earning Empire 8 Rookie of the Year honors. He was the Empire 8 Player of the Year in 2001 and 2002 and was an All-Empire 8 first team selection in 2000, 2001 and 2002. He is fifth all-time in rebounds at RIT (598), ninth in career assists (297), third in career steals (156), second in three pointers (218), eighth in career free throws made (249), fourth in free throw percentage (81.1) and fifth in career three-point percentage (40.2).
