GLOUCESTER, MA --
Juniors #Sarah Dagg (St. George, Ontario/Hamilton Hawks) and Katie Stack (Batavia, NY/Rochester Edge)# of the RIT women's hockey team were named 2010 RBK Hockey Division III Women's First Team All-Americans on Thursday, as selected by the American Hockey Coaches Association.  It is the first time two RIT players earned first team honors in one season.  RIT now has 10 All-American selections.

Dagg, a second team All-American selection in 2009, led the Tigers and is second nationally in scoring with 45 points (17-28-45).  Dagg, a 2010 All-ECAC West first team selection, led the nation with 28 assists.  She led all scorers in ECAC West play with 35 points (13-22-35).  Dagg became the seventh Tiger to eclipse 100 career points on Feb. 7 against Chatham.  Dagg has 111 points (44-67-111) in 78 career games.  This season, Dagg has a point in 19 different contests and 15 multiple-point efforts.  She was a 2009 RBK All-American.

Dagg becomes just RIT's second repeat All-American, joining former standout Jen Gorczynski (Rochester, NY/Rochester Americans), who was a three-time All-American from 2002-04.

Stack garnered her first All-American honor.  Earlier in the month, she was named to the ECAC West first team.  In addition, she will be honored as the 2009 PAYCHEX Female College Athlete of the Year at the Rochester Press Radio Club's 61st Annual Day of Champions Children's Charity Dinner on Wednesday, May 12.

Stack leads the nation with 31 goals, and 10 power-play tallies.  In 18 ECAC West games, Stack led the league with 22 goals.  This season, Stack recorded five hat-tricks, a team record.  She has scored a goal in 19 different games this season and record 11 multiple-point efforts.  For her career, Stack has 61 goals and 37 assists for 98 points in 79 games.  The 61 goals are third most all-time at RIT.  She can become the eighth Tiger to record 100 career points.

RIT finished the season with a 19-5-3 overall record.
