Volleyball defeats SUNY Brockport and loses to Nazareth on Saturday at New York State Regional Challenge

ITHACA, NY - The RIT women's volleyball team (20-19) opened play the 2009 New York State Regional Challenge by going 1-1 on Saturday. RIT opened the day by defeating Brockport in four sets, 25-21, 21-25, 25-19, 25-21, then fell to Nazareth in three sets, 25-20, 25-16, 25-11.
The Tigers open play on Sunday against St. Lawrence at 10 a.m. If RIT wins that match, they will play at 4:30 p.m.
